What this website collects

This website is a simple informational page. We do not currently use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, or any web forms that collect personal information.

The only information automatically collected is basic technical data gathered by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) as a normal part of serving any website — such as IP address, browser type, and general access logs. This is standard infrastructure-level data used for security and reliability purposes, and we do not use it to identify or track individual visitors.

How you contact us

If you reach out to us — by email, phone, or WhatsApp — any information you share with us at that point (such as your name, business name, and contact details) is used solely to respond to your enquiry and, if relevant, to discuss our services with you. We do not sell, rent, or share this information with third parties for marketing purposes.

If you become a client

If your business signs up to use the Settrhouse portal, the personal data your centre submits into the portal (student, parent, and staff data) is handled under the terms of our Client Services Agreement and its Data Processing Agreement, which set out in detail how that data is processed, secured, and protected. How long we keep information

Enquiry information (e.g. your name and contact details, if you email or call us) is kept only for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and, if relevant, discuss our services — typically no longer than is useful for that purpose, unless you become a client, in which case retention is governed by our Client Services Agreement. Basic technical/access data processed by our hosting provider is retained only as long as their standard infrastructure logs require.

Third parties

We do not share visitor information from this website with any third parties. Our website is hosted by Cloudflare, which may process basic technical/access data as described above as part of providing hosting infrastructure.

Your rights

Wherever you are contacting us from, if you have reached out to us and would like to know what information we hold about you, or would like it corrected or deleted, email us at contact@settrhouse.com and we'll action your request.

If you are based in the UK or the EU, this includes your rights under UK GDPR / EU GDPR to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, and to object to how it is processed. Where we hold any information about you as a result of you contacting us, our lawful basis for that processing is our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry.

Any technical/access data described above that is processed by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may be processed on infrastructure located outside the UK/EU as part of their global network; Cloudflare maintains its own safeguards for this, details of which are available on their website.

If you are not satisfied with how we've handled your request, UK-based visitors can contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk); visitors elsewhere can contact their own local data protection authority.

Visitors outside the UK (including California)

This website is operated from the UK, and this policy is written to meet UK data protection standards, which are among the most protective globally. We aim for this policy to also meet the expectations of visitors from other regions:

• California residents: this policy is provided in line with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA). As set out above, we collect minimal information from this website and do not use tracking technologies.
• Visitors from other countries: as this website collects only minimal, non-sensitive technical data and does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking, our practices are intended to be consistent with generally recognised data protection principles (transparency, data minimisation, and a clear way to contact us about your data) wherever you are visiting from. If your local law gives you specific rights beyond what's described here, contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

If this website begins collecting additional information in future (for example, if we add analytics, a contact form, or cookies), we will update this policy and revise the effective date above to reflect that.
